Central suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday night after a 46-41 loss against Dublin Scioto.

After leading 28-23 at halftime, Central continued its offensive dominance by outscoring the Irish 10-9 in the third quarter. Taking the Warhawk lead to 38-32.

After a Scioto timeout with the Warhawks leading 38-37 with 5:35 left in the game, Central was able to hold off the Irish for most of the quarter. However, Scioto hit a three-point basket that gave them the lead with just over a minute remaining in the game.

Will Maynus led the Warhawks with points with 19 points against the Irish.

The 1-1 (0-1) Warhawks will hit the road for their next match against Canal Winchester on Friday. The team will return home on December 19 when it hosts Westerville North.
