Warhawks News · Warhawks Spring Swing This Week


Westerville Central spring sports will hit full swing this week.  Classes resumed after spring break and the Warhawks are ready to hit the field, track and court.

This week’s schedule is highlighted by the start of OCC Cardinal Division play in baseball, softball and tennis.  The baseball team will play a 2 game series with Scioto – hosting the Irish on Monday  and travelling to Scioto on Wednesday; the Warhawks will travel to Canal Winchester on Friday.  The softball team will be home Monday against Scioto, at Canal Winchester Wednesday and home with Bradley on Friday.  The tennis team opens its season Monday in a non-league contest with Newark.  Tuesday the netters will host Scioto, Wednesday will play at Orange and Thursday at Darby.

The girls lacrosse will be on the road for two matches this week – Monday at Davidson and Thursday at Granville.  The boys lax team plays at Pickerington Central Wednesday and at New Albany Friday.

The boys volleyball team has an action packed week planned also travelling to Westerville South Monday, hosting Westerville North Tuesday, at Kilbourne Thursday and hosting Dublin Jerome Saturday.

The boys and girls track teams will host Bradley and Worthington Christian Tuesday and will compete in the Big Walnut Relays Saturday.
