The Westerville Central boys and girls bowling teams competed in the Central District Tournament this weekend and both will advance to this week’s OHSAA State Championship Tournament.
The defending state champion boys team captured the District title outscoring the runner-up, Marion Harding, by more the 250 pins. The Warhawks totaled 3907 en route to the win. Zach Gonzalez led the way for Central with a 597 series and Devon Richardson had a 570. Click here for the boys district tournament results.

The girls squad finished 3rd at the district tournament and will advance to the state tourney as well…The Warhawks totaled 2357 and were led by Reace Gonzalez with a score of 523…Jocelyn Grimsley (481), Madison Owsiany (480) and Kirsten Miller (451) also contributed for Central.
