A successful fall season of Warhawk sports recently ended. OCC Championships, Players of the Year and long tournament runs highlighted the experience for Westerville Central athletes, coaches and school community. It was an unusual season but the players, coaches and spectators overcame the adversity. The teams made it through the season because the players, coaches and fans all diligently wore the same uniform:

The Warhawk football team with a record of 7-2 were OCC Runners-Up and Division I Regional Runners-Up….and for the second consecutive season Zeke Healy was OCC Player of the Year.

The girls volleyball team completed its season as OCC Champions and, for the second straight year as Division I District Runners-Up. Ava Hampton was OCC Player of the Year and Head Coach Shelley Ebright was the OCC Coach of the Year…the Warhawks finished 8-1 in conference play and 20-3 overall.

The boys soccer team was Division I District Runners-Up
Boys golf was OCC Champions and Division I District Qualifier. Senior Josh Qian, for the second consecutive season, was OCC Player of the Year and played in the OHSAA Division I State Championship Tournament where he finished 7th. Kyle Baker was OCC Coach of the Year.

The boys and girls cross country teams were both Division I Regional Qualifiers and junior Tara Will qualified for and competed in the OHSAA Division I Cross Country Championship Meet.
The girls tennis team were OCC Runners-Up…seniors Levi Burks and Vivian Baker were Division I District Qualifiers.
