Girls Basketball Tops Darby 50-32

The Warhawks girls basketball team finished the OCC Cardinal Division season travelling to Hilliard Darby to post a win by the score of 50-32.  Central was led by Taylor Feinman who nailed four 3 point goals and totaled 14 points. Andrea Hodge and Morghan Hyatt each scored 11 and Imani Steele chipped in with 8.

Grapplers Beat South 56-9

The Warhawk wrestling team finished off the OCC dual meet portion of their season with a 56-9 win over Westerville South.  Seniors John FitzGibbon, Keane Moyer and David Lipscomb were honored before the match.    

Gymnasts Take 2nd

The Warhawk gymnastics team wrapped up its home season hosting Tri-Valley, Sheridan and Thomas Worthington in a quad Wednesday at WYB Gymnastics Facility.  Central finished 2nd to Thomas Worthington.  It was Senior Night and senior Warhawks Jeni Schorling and Viktoria Vasko, along with their families, were honored before the match. The Westerville Central wrestling team will host Westerville South Thursday in the final OCC Cardinal Division match of the season.  It is also Senior Night for the Warhawks. The Westerville Central boys basketball team put together a solid performance last night at Westerville North High School and beat the host Warriors 69-63.  The loss avenges an early season loss to North. The Westerville Central Athletic Department and the Westerville Central Sports Medicine Department have selected Saturday, May 16 as the date for the 2015 Sports Physicals.  The event, once again, will be held at the Ohio Health Building, Westerville Campus, located at 300 Polaris Parkway.
