Thursday Sports Report….

In action Wednesday the tennis team defeated Olentangy Berlin 3-2.  Madison Lane and Vivian Baker won singles matches and the doubles team of Tetyana Onyshko and Shayla Ta also was victorious.  The team is scheduled to play at Westerville South today. The girls golf team picked up a dual match victory over Grove City….Grace Welty

Warhawk Wrestling Information Meeting, Thursday September 13

Head Wrestling Coach Jerry McSwords will host an information meeting for all Westerville Central students, and their parents, who are interested in being part of the 2018-19 Warhawk wrestling team.  The meeting will be held Thursday, September 13 at 6:30 pm in Room 1107.  Pre-season conditioning, practice schedules and other important information will be discussed.

Wednesday Sports Report….

The Warhawk volleyball teams swept Westerville North last night in the opening game of Buckeye Division play…the Varsity rallied to take a 3-2 win and the junior varsity and freshmen team’s both won 2-1.  The Warhawks will return to action Thursday at Olentangy Orange. Today’s schedule features the tennis team playing host to Olentangy Berlin.

Warhawks Softball Booster Golf Outing

The Warhawk Softball Booster Club will host its annual golf outing Saturday, October 27 at Blackhawk Golf Club.  Registration begins at 12:00 pm and the shot-gun format golf will start at 1:00 pm.  Individual golfers are $75.00 and team of four is $300.00.  Hole sponsorship’s are also available for $100. Warhawk Football Sweeps Grove City

Westerville Central hosted Grove City Friday in a non-league contest and came away with a 45-15 victory….Saturday morning the junior varsity and freshmen teams both traveled to Grove City and won 41-8 and 40-6 respectively.
