Boys Basketball Home Tonight

The Warhawks boys basketball team will be in action tonight playing host host to Whitehall.  Central opened tourney play with a win Saturday over Delaware Hayes.  Tonight’s game is set to tip-off at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students….Ultimate Warhawk and other school passes are not accepted…the winning team will

The boys basketball team opened tournament action Saturday playing host to Delaware Hayes.  The Pacers proved to be a tough out and were able to keep the score close until late in the 4th quarter when the Warhawks were able to pull away and seal the 45-38 victory. Warhawk Swim Update…

Two Westerville Central swimmers competed in this weekend’s OHSAA Division I State Swim and Dive Championships.  Senior Annie McNenny, qualified in two events and she finished 20th in the 1oo yard butterfly and 23rd in the 500 yard freestyle.  Sophomore Macey Swearingen, making her 2nd consecutive trip to the meet, finished 14th in the 100

Warhawk Wrestling Update….

The Westerville Central wrestling team competed in the Sectional Tournament Saturday at Marysville High and finished in  7th place with 71 points.  Three Warhawks will advance to this weeks District Tournament…Nick DeRose, Cody Mayes and Zeke Healy with Gary Steele as an alternate. Warhawks Win Tourney Opener Over Hayes 45-38

The Westerville Central boys basketball team knocked off Delaware Hayes 45-38 in the opening round of the Central District Division I Basketball Tournament…the Warhawks were led by Thomas Hicks with 19 points…that pushed Hickman over the 1,000 point threshold for his career, becoming only the 2nd player in school history to reach that goal. Boys Bowlers Capture Sectional Title!!

The Westerville Central Boys Bowling team captured the Sectional title today at HP Lanes….the Warhawks topped the runners-up, Gahanna Lincoln, by a score of 3836 to 3609.  Zach Gonzalez (567) and Ryan O’Connor (543) led the way for Central.  The team advances to next weeks District tournament that will be played  Saturday March 3 at

Warhawk Bowling Update…

Another successful regular season for the Westerville Central Bowling Teams…the girls completed league play with a 6-1 record and finished as runners-up in the Buckeye Division…Kirsten Miller earned 1st team all league honors, Summer Snyder and Jocelyn Grimsley were 2nd team and Reace Gonzalez was 3rd team.  The team will open tournament play tomorrow at
