The Warhawks posted their season high score to finish 3rd in a non conference meet at Thomas Worthington. Junior Kylie Nelson led the way for the Hawks with her career high all around score of 30.2. She was the top finisher in all events for the team. Juniors Abigail Ring and Carley Springer and freshman Mal Lewis also had career high all around scores. Sophomore Marissa Bagley competed in the all around for her first time and posted the team’s third highest score. Senior Kalia Brown had her season best vault and beam scores, Senior Sofia Draginsky had her highest floor score and junior Katlyn Alexander improved her vault to set a new career high score. The WCHS Gymnasts will be hosting the Warhawk Invitational on Saturday January 19 at the WYB gymnastics facility. Competition starts at 10:00am. Come cheer on the Hawks in their final home meet of the season. Seniors Kalia Brown and Sofia Draginsky will be honored before the start of the meet.
