New Requirement for Warhawk Athletes…

Reminder to Warhawk athletes and their families.  Each Warhawk athlete is responsible for submitting a variety of paperwork at the start of the season:  A pre-particiaption physical examination to insure they are in good health, an emergency medical card with important contact information, an acknowledgment agreeing to follow the district code of conduct, the concussion

Girls Track and Field – State Results

The Westerville Central girls track and field team was represented in four events at last week’s OHSAA Division I State Track and Field Meet at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Stadium.  Senior Taylor Stills completed her athletic career at Westerville Central attaining All-Ohio status with a 4th place in the Long Jump.  Stills jumped 18′ 1″

Track and Field Update

The boys and girls track and field teams will compete Saturday in the Central District Championship Meet at Hilliard Davidson starting at 9:00 am.  Click here for the order of events. Preliminary running events were held Tuesday and many Warhawks qualified for Saturday’s finals. Field event finals were yesterday – placing for Central were: Taylor

The girls track and field team finished runners-up at Saturday’s Ohio Capital Conference Championship Meet…following is a re-cap of Saturday’s results: 4 X 800 Relay – McKenna, Fry, Sydney Kapral, Emma Dyer and Chloe Ey Discus – Savannah Line – 3rd place High Jump – Taylor Stills – OCC Champion Pole Vault – Lyndsey Erlanbach

Cross Country Informational Meeting

There will be a boys and girls cross country informational meeting Monday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM in the WCHS Media Center.  This meeting is for all current and future Warhawks interested in running cross country for Central next school year.  Both parents and runners are encouraged to attend.

Youth Track & Field and Cross Country Camp

The Warhawk Track & Field and Cross Country programs will be holding a youth summer camp the week of June 12th-16th.  The camp is designed for youth runners who have a passion for running and want to improve or simply for those who are interested in learning more about the sports of track and field

Warhawk Track and Field Invite Tonight!

The Westerville Central tack and field teams will host the 2nd Annual Warhakw Invitational tonight at Otterbein University.  The evening will begin at 4:00 pm with the Senior Night Ceremony to honor all the Warhawk seniors and their parents.  Field events will begin at 4:30 pm and track events at 5:00 pm.

Girls T&F Captures Title at Big Walnut Relays

The Westerville Central girls track and field team captured first place at Saturday’s Big Walnut 40th Red Edwards Eagle Relays outscoring 2nd place Big Walnut 110 to 89.  The boys team also had a strong showing in taking home the runners-up trophy with 65 points.
